GOVT. POLYTECHNIC is the first polytechnic in Himachal Pradesh which was started in the year 1959 . The basic idea was to cater to the needs of various segments of our society and to provide them quality technical education .The campus spread over approx. 23 acres of lush green land and surrounded by beautiful hills. The environment is ideally suited for teaching- learning.
